Bleed is the artwork that extends past the final cut line of your card. Because cutting machines can shift slightly, providing a 0.125" bleed ensures your background color or image goes right to the very edge of the physical card.
Business cards should always be designed in CMYK. Computer screens display colors using RGB (Red, Green, Blue) light, but commercial printers use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) ink. Printing an RGB file can cause unexpected color shifts.
